FIELD: dairy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dairy industry, concerns improvement of organoleptic indices of buttermilk, its vitamin and mineral composition and may be used in everyday nutrition of people as a product having a favourable effect on human body. Disclosed is buttermilk-based beverage, including buttermilk and syrup, which contains tamarind syrup as a syrup, wherein the beverage additionally contains longan juice in the following ratio of components, ml per 100 ml of the ready composition: tamarind syrup 10.0–30.0; longan juice 5.0–15.0; buttermilk – the rest.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of buttermilk-based beverages with improved organoleptic indices, increased vitamin and mineral composition.
