DEVICE FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE MICROWAVE MEASUREMENT OF COMPLEX DIELECTRIC PERMEABILITY OF MATERIAL OF DIELECTRIC PLATES Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01R27/26

Abstract RU 2822306 C1

FIELD: control and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for non-destructive measurement of complex dielectric permittivity of dielectric plates at microwave frequencies. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device for non-destructive measurement of the complex dielectric permeability of the dielectric plates on the microwave includes a microwave module in the form of a piece of a transmission line and a reflection coefficient frequency characteristic meter connected to it, wherein the microwave module is made in the form of a short-circuited section of an asymmetric strip line with air filling and the possibility of inserting a test dielectric plate under the strip, digital output of the reflection coefficient meter is connected to a computer equipped with software for importing measurement results into a computer, and electrodynamic simulation of a short-circuited section of a strip line with an introduced plate of corresponding dimensions, and position at trial value of its complex permittivity, and displaying measured and calculated frequency dependences of reflection coefficient.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of non-destructive testing of parameters of the dielectric plate with the possibility of evaluating the homogeneity of these parameters.
