FIELD: capturing, trapping or scaring away animals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to providing visibility of overhead power lines (OPL) for birds by means of installation of bird protection devices (BPD) on OPL wire. For this purpose, the device for installation of bird protection devices on the wire OPL comprises a UAV equipped with a means for movement on the wire, on which a module for installation of bird protection devices is installed, including a housing, to which a guide chute is attached and a drive motor, to which a lead screw is connected, along which a pusher of bird protection devices from the chute moves, guide rods for stringing the light-reflecting plate of the bird protection device are also attached to the housing, and a limiting stopper is installed on the end of the guide chute.
EFFECT: higher reliability and safety of installation of bird protection devices on OPL wire, as well as possibility of installation of a large number of BPDs in one approach of UAV to OPL wire.
