FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pulmonology, and can be used to predict the risk of developing cardiovascular complications in next 12 months in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with early stages of chronic renal disease. Sum of points is calculated on the PROCAM scale. If the total PROCAM (K) score is less than 56, a low risk of developing cardiovascular complications in next 12 months is stated. If K is more than 56, the level of vitamin D (VD), the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and the number of exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (ECOPD) in the previous year are additionally determined. If K is more than 56 and GFR is less than 80 ml/min/1.73 m2 low risk of developing cardiovascular complications in next 12 months is determined. If K is more than 56 and VD is less than 34.3 ng/ml, K is more than 56 and ECOPD is more than 2, if K is more than 56 and GFR is less than 80 ml/min/1.73 m2 and the VD value less than 34.3 ng/ml, with K more than 56 and ECOPD greater than 2 and the VD value less than 34.3 ng/ml, high risk of developing cardiovascular complications.
EFFECT: method provides predicting the risk of developing cardiovascular complications in next 12 months in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with early stages of chronic renal disease by assessing the contribution of each predictor of developing cardiovascular complications.
