FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to nephrology. The patient performs venipuncture to collect blood in a test tube of two milliliters. After that, the tube is left standing for 15-30 minutes at room temperature in a vertical position, then the tube is centrifuged for 15 minutes at 2500 rpm. Next, the blood serum is taken from the test tube to the supernatant gel, and then the concentration of IL-6 is determined by the method for semi-open enzyme immunoassay. Further, the formula determines the coefficient (C) of the probability of the presence of PEM. At the obtained values of C ≤ 0.92, the absence of PEM is stated, at C 0.93-1.71, the mild stage of PEM is determined, and at C ≥ 1.72, the moderate stage of PEM is determined.
EFFECT: The method is promising, simple, accessible and informative, allows you to timely detect the presence of PEM and optimize approaches to the pharmacological correction of this clinical condition.
