SUBSTANCE: before the beginning of the plasty, the distance between the fibrous triangles of the fibrous ring of the mitral valve is measured. Rigid support ring is used for implantation, wherein the size of the support ring is selected to be smaller than that measured by the distance between the fibrous triangles. Support ring is fixed with U-shaped seams, which are carried out with the capture of the fibrous ring of the mitral valve, after which the narrowing support ring is seated and tied. Elimination or reduction of the preserved deflection of the central part of the front cusp above the central part of the rear cusp is checked under the control of a hydraulic test, and upon completion of the repair, the consistency of the valve is also determined by a hydraulic breakdown. With preservation of deflection of not more than 5 mm, shortening vertical U-shaped sutures are additionally applied on the central part of the comparison zone of the front cusp, while avoiding tendon chords of the anterior cusp. In a particular case, when applying additional shortening U-shaped sutures, the pricks are started on the atrial side of the anterior cusp juxtaposition zone, then the suture is delivered under the matching zone, and the suture is pricked out into the smooth zone of anterior cusp 3 mm from the line of transition of the cusp body into its matching zone.

EFFECT: method enables performing the controlled reconstructive intervention on the mitral valve in case of a combined involvement, prolapse of both cusps, provides a natural blood flow through the adequate mitral valve.
