FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to valve industry and is intended for control and shutoff of working media of liquids and gases. Control valve of direct-flow type comprises a housing, inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges, flow divider is made in the form of a hollow perforated cylinder, the internal volume of the housing is divided into three chambers – inlet, intermediate and outlet. Chambers are separated from each other by surfaces of coaxially arranged perforated hollow cylinders, one of which – external is installed with possibility of rotation and is connected to rotary drive by means of a lever. On the surfaces of the perforated cylinders there are holes in the form of ellipses arranged in annular rows, major axles of which are located along axes of rows, besides, there are no holes in central parts of hollow perforated cylinders. In the cavity of the inner perforated cylinder, in its central part, there are symmetrically installed guiding fairings of curvilinear shape. Flat guides located in meridional planes with staggered round and rectangular holes are attached to the inner surface of the housing. On the edges of the flat guides, on the side of the outlet branch pipe, there are triangular cutouts.
EFFECT: proposed design of direct-flow control valve allows reducing cavitation.
