FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to valve industry, in particular to axial flow control valves and is intended for control and shutoff of working media of liquids and gases. Axial valve comprises external and internal bodies, inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges, flow divider, locking device of cylindrical shape, drive of translational movement in the form of rack-and-pinion mechanism. Surface of the flow divider has a curvilinear cross-section, the longitudinal axes of which are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the valve, and the width and depth increase towards the outlet branch pipe. Flow divider is a hollow cylinder attached by its outer surface to the outer housing. Longitudinal streams are made on its inner surface. Locking device is a flat disc, the diameter of which is equal to the internal diameter of the flow divider, and on its side surface, on the side of the outlet branch pipe, there are cylindrical projections arranged in a circle. End surface of the flow divider located on the side of the inlet branch pipe and the end surface of the inner housing lie in the same plane.
EFFECT: proposed straight-flow valve has a relatively simple design, reduces cavitation effects and provides relatively low hydraulic resistance in the open position.
