FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a liquid nicotine composition for use in an aerosol generation system, a cartridge for use in an aerosol generation system and an aerosol generation system. Liquid nicotine composition contains nicotine; at least one water-miscible solvent; at least one water-immiscible solvent having solubility in water at 20 °C 100 mg/ml or less; at least one water-soluble organic acid. Liquid nicotine composition has a nicotine content of 0.5 to 10 percent by weight, a water-miscible solvent content of 5 percent by weight or more, content of water-immiscible solvent equal to 2 wt.% or more, content of water-soluble organic acid equal to 2 wt.% or more. Cartridge for use in an aerosol generation system contains the above liquid nicotine composition. Aerosol generation system contains the above liquid nicotine composition and a sprayer configured to produce an aerosol from the above composition.
EFFECT: providing the user with increased satisfaction from nicotine, reduced nicotine adsorption in the upper respiratory tract, improved intrapulmonary delivery and nicotine retention.
