METHOD FOR PREDICTING DEVELOPMENT OF INFLAMMATORY AGING ASSOCIATED WITH AGE-ASSOCIATED DISEASES Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/48 G01N33/68 C12N5/786

Abstract RU 2823182 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to geriatrics and clinical laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to predict the development of inflammatory aging associated with age-associated diseases. Mononuclear cells (MNC) are isolated from peripheral blood and cultivated at rate of 1 million of MNC per 1 ml of the nutrient medium for 24 hours. In supernatant of cultured MNCs, enzyme immunoassay is used to determine the concentration of interleukin-6 and interleukin-10. If the concentration of interleukin-6 is more than 300 pg/ml and that of interleukin-10 is more than 10 pg/ml, the development of inflammatory aging associated with age-associated diseases is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides more accurate prediction of the development of inflammatory aging associated with age-associated diseases by determining the concentration of interleukin-6 and interleukin-10 in the peripheral blood MNC culture.
