FIELD: medicine; geriatrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for stratification of elderly patients aged 90 years and older (long-livers) based on data of complex geriatric assessment. Disclosed is a method in which information on a patient is collected (presence of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, polypharmacy, senile asthenia, dementia, body weight index, right dynamometry, MMSE, FAB, Bartel, Lowton, SPPB, GDS-5). Further, each variable is standardized by subtracting the average from it and dividing by the root from the variance, obtained for the training sample and presented in table 1. Vector of standardized variables is fed to the input of an algorithm which uses a support vector method to determine the phenotypic class of long-livers by a mathematical formula. Calculated values are used to calculate pairwise probabilities, where the final probabilities of the presence of each of the five aging phenotypes in the patient are calculated during minimization of the function with the obligatory fulfillment of the specified conditions.
EFFECT: invention provides stratification of elderly patients aged 90 years and older, which enables to assess the current functional status of a long-liver based on results of examination and testing according to various geriatric scales.
