SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions for reducing hair graying, stimulating hair growth and/or preventing or reducing hair loss. Compositions contain as an active ingredient a double-stranded oligonucleotide hsa-miR-3139, hsa-miR-3189, hsa-miR-3199 or hsa-miR-8485, double-stranded oligonucleotide structure containing it, or nanoparticles containing the above structure.
EFFECT: compositions prevent hair graying and reduce the rate of its progression by melanocyte activation and melanogenesis stimulation, and also provide improvement of condition of hair already affected by graying to condition preceding graying; in addition, the compositions promote activation of melanocytes and proliferation of dermal papilla and keratinocytes, which are present in hair follicles, and induce development of external root sheath and hair growth.
