SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a monitoring state switching control method implemented by a network device and comprising: receiving configuration information setting for a terminal corresponding to a multicast broadcast service (MBS), wherein the reception configuration information is configured by the terminal to obtain MBS in discontinuous reception mode; and transmitting the target control information to the terminal, wherein the target control information is configured to activate or deactivate the MBS reception tracking for the terminal.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption by the terminal.
