SUBSTANCE: described is a method for indirect determination of the number of colony-forming units of Mycoplasma arginini using quantitative hybridization-fluorescence detection and quantitative assessment cycle of amplification reaction. CFU value of Mycoplasma arginini is determined by the value of the quantitative assessment cycle. Based on the established value of this indicator, the CFU value of the given pathogen is calculated.
EFFECT: proposed invention enables to quickly and with a high degree of reliability calculate the titre of infectious activity of Mycoplasma arginini in the analyzed material by using specific oligonucleotide primers and a molecular probe for a portion of the regE gene of Mycoplasma arginini and a developed logarithmic model.
