FIELD: teaching aids in medicine.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for practicing otosurgical skills in stapedoplasty with the possibility of selecting the level of training complexity is made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped, which includes imitation of middle ear structures in the inner space of the simulator with imitations of a long limb of incus and an oval window niche and a hole-imitation of external auditory canal configured to receive an ear speculum. All imitations of middle ear structures are made in accordance with anatomical dimensions in full size. According to the invention, there are simulated structures of the middle ear on the external surface of the simulator for the first level of complexity training, with imitation of long limb of incus and hole made with possibility of prosthesis installation, imitation of autovein made of latex rubber, laid on imitation of oval window niche in internal space of simulator and used for training of second-third level of complexity, and imitation of a chorda tympani, passed through two holes on opposite sides of the simulator for use during training of the third level of complexity. On the upper side of the simulator there is a slot for extraction of prostheses. Rectangular parallelepiped is hollow.

EFFECT: providing training of basic microotosurgical skills with possibility to select different level of training complexity.
