SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a device for limiting the position of the tongue, and can be used to correct the position of upper jaw teeth. Device for limiting the position of the tongue includes at least three elements connected to the orthodontic apparatus for correcting the position of the teeth of the upper dentition. Extreme elements are made in the form of volumetric figures containing vestibular surface and palatal surface, from lateral sides connected to lateral surfaces. Extreme elements are connected by upper part with structure of orthodontic apparatus corresponding to palatal surface, and in lower part are made with rounding. Element located between the extreme elements is made in the form of a volumetric figure containing a vestibular surface and a palatal surface, on the sides connected to the extreme elements, the upper part is connected to the structure of the orthodontic apparatus corresponding to the palatal surface, and the lower part is rounded. Element located between extreme elements faces lateral mesial surfaces of extreme elements with its lateral sides. Angle between each element and the palatal surface of the orthodontic apparatus ranges from 80 to 100 degrees.

EFFECT: use of the invention provides higher efficiency in correcting the position of teeth in the dentition, as well as improved ergonomics of the device.
