SUBSTANCE: system for correcting the position of the lower jaw includes an upper element connected to an orthodontic apparatus for correcting the position of the upper dentition, and a lower element connected to the orthodontic apparatus for correcting the position of the teeth of the lower dentition. Said elements contain active sites for contact with each other. Upper element is made in the form of a volumetric body, by the upper part of the orthodontic appliance conjugated with the occlusal surface for the upper dentition position correction, and includes oral and vestibular surfaces, conjugated on one side with an active platform and on the other side with a support surface located in inclined planes to each other. Lower element is made in the form of a volumetric body, by the lower part of the orthodontic apparatus conjugated with the occlusal surface for the correction of the position of the teeth of the lower dentition, including oral and vestibular surfaces, conjugated on one side with an active platform and on the other side with a support surface located in inclined planes to each other. Active sites of the upper and lower elements are located at angle of 25–35 degrees to the corresponding occlusal surfaces of the apparatus for correction of upper and lower teeth position respectively.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the lower jaw position correction efficiency in combination with the teeth position correction and the system reliability during operation, as well as improved ergonomics, usability and safety of the system.
