FIELD: medicine; vascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to isolate the common femoral artery in robot-assisted reconstructive operations in stenosis and occlusion of the aortoiliac segment. Posterior peritoneum is dissected above a terminal portion of the external iliac artery. Robotic manipulator is used to lift the inguinal ligament. External iliac artery is mobilized by clipping its branches. Common femoral artery is bluntly separated with the help of a bipolar fenestrated clamp to the level of its bifurcation.
EFFECT: method is minimally invasive, does not require formation of open access to femoral arteries, thereby minimizing injuries, blood loss, risks of infectious complications and reduces the rehabilitation period of patients by creating a space above the neurovascular bundle using the da Vinci robot.
