METHOD OF FORMATION OF BIFURCATION AUTOVENOUS CONDUIT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine; vascular surgery.

SUBSTANCE: conduit is formed between the internal jugular vein, which is the main branch of the conduit, and the two superficial femoral veins – the right and left branches of the conduit, respectively. At the same time, at the first stage, the superficial femoral veins are stitched together. The first polypropylene thread is used to form an anastomosis, piercing from the inside of the vein, and a wrap-around seam is applied, starting from the intended lower edge in the direction of the upper edge of the conduit with a needle pricked out inside the vein. A continuous wrap-around seam in the form of a second row is applied with the second polypropylene thread in the opposite direction, piercing from the outside into the vein, crossing the ties of the first thread with a needle pricked the inside out of the vein. Then, the second stage of the formation of the conduit is performed: the internal jugular vein is stitched with the previously stitched superficial femoral veins. To do this, a continuous wrap-around seam is applied with the ends of the first and second threads, respectively, towards each other; the femoral veins are sewn alternately with the internal jugular vein. The final formation of the anastomosis is performed by tightening and binding the ends of the threads together.

EFFECT: method allows obtaining an anatomically correctly formed and the longest bifurcation autovenous conduit, avoid a shortage of blood supply to the limbs, and stop the infectious process, thereby preventing septic complications and relapse of infection.
