SUBSTANCE: invention relates to colorectal surgery and can be used for surgical treatment of malignant neoplasms of rectum. Laparoscopic approach is performed; a descending colon, sigmoid and rectum are mobilized within the mesorectal fascia. Proximal colon resection is performed. Loop is formed from a polypropylene ligature suture and inserted into the abdominal cavity. Berci suture instrument is inserted transanally into the rectum up to the suture line. At distance of 1 cm from the line of the stapling suture in the middle part of the intestine on opposite sides, 2 point defects are formed. Berci suture instrument is inserted through the defects, the loop is grasped and removed from the rectum. Both suture ends are pulled up transanally. Distal portion of the intestine is inverted in the caudal direction. Rectum with tumour is transected. Circular colorectal anastomosis is applied.

EFFECT: method provides uniform distribution of pressure in eversion of rectum, which reduces traumatisation of rectum and minimizes risk of integrity of stapling suture line, provides high level of haemostasis.
