FIELD: space engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of cellular panels of spacecraft (SC). In particular, the invention relates to mechanical processing of materials, namely to mechanical processing by cutting a honeycomb panel using an interlayer. Task is solved due to the fact that the method of manufacturing a multilayer honeycomb panel, which consists in making elements of honeycomb panel structures: skins, honeycomb filler and their subsequent connection into a single whole by gluing, gluing embedded elements into holes of honeycomb panel, it is performed in such a way that honeycomb panel is installed on backing sheet surface, after which holes are drilled in honeycomb panel for installation of embedded elements and backing sheet is dismantled. Thus, this method of mechanical processing of a honeycomb panel with a backing sheet allows to solve the set task of the invention—creation of a method for mechanical processing of a honeycomb panel, during implementation of which the probability of occurrence of deviations and defects after mechanical processing will be minimized.
EFFECT: minimization of deviations and defects during drilling of holes in multilayer honeycomb panel during its manufacture.
