FIELD: space technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of manufacturing spacecraft panels. To produce a three-layer honeycomb panel with heat pipes built into it, the skins, honeycomb core, and heat pipes are glued together into a single whole. Then a stencil is made on a transparent medium with a projection of the position of the heat pipes and holes. A stencil is applied to the honeycomb panel and the graphic contours of the heat pipes and holes are transferred to the surface of the honeycomb panel and the stencil is removed. The centers of the holes are coordinated so as to prevent the drill from getting into the heat pipe. After this, holes are drilled along the intended centers, and then the embedded elements are glued into the holes of the honeycomb panel.

EFFECT: invention eliminates the possibility of the drill getting into the body of the heat pipes and improves the quality of the manufacturing process of a three-layer honeycomb panel.
