FIELD: cell biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for assessing phagocytic activity of cells, which consists in combined incubation of neutrophil cells at temperature of 37°C with phagocytic objects, which leads to absorption of the latter by phagocytic cells, with subsequent evaluation of the result on a flow cytometer, wherein the phagocytosis objects used are pegylated nanoparticles of graphene oxide in concentration of 25 mcg/ml, and the result of phagocytosis is estimated by the number of cells absorbing the autofluorescent particles at 37°C as a percentage of the total number of analyzed cells, minus the percentage of fluorescent cells incubated with pegylated graphene oxide nanoparticles at 4°C.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of time and labor intensity of the conducted research.
