BIOCOMPATIBLE FLEXIBLE HAEMOSTATIC SHEET Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61L15/22 A61L15/42 A61L15/64 A61K9/14 A61P7/04

Abstract RU 2824580 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a biocompatible flexible haemostatic sheet comprising: a water-resistant structure of a cohesive fibrous carrier comprising a three-dimensional interconnected inner space, said structure of the fibrous carrier contains fibres containing a nucleophilic polymer carrying chemically active nucleophilic groups, which is poly(2-ethyl/aminoethylamidoethyl-2-oxazoline) (NU-POx) copolymer; and distributed in the inner space a plurality of reactive polymer particles containing a water-soluble electrophilic polymer, that is terpolymer poly[2-(ethyl/hydroxy-ethyl-amide-ethyl/NHS-ester-ethyl-ester-ethyl-amide-ethyl)-2-oxazoline] with an activated NHS-side chain containing 20% NHS-ester groups , bearing at least three chemically active electrophilic groups which can react with amine groups in tissue and blood, as well as with reactive nucleophilic groups of the nucleophilic polymer, to form a covalent bond, said reactive polymer particles having a diameter in range of 0.5–100 mcm and are present in an amount of at least 3 wt.% of fibrous carrier structure, also relates to an aluminium foil package for storing a haemostatic sheet, comprising one or more haemostatic sheets and 1 g of silicon dioxide, and which is sealed in a vacuum, and relates to a method of producing a haemostatic sheet, comprising: obtaining a sheet of a water-resistant structure of a cohesive fibrous carrier; obtaining reactive polymer particles; and distribution of reactive polymer particles in inner space of fibrous carrier structure.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides the development of a biocompatible flexible haemostatic sheet, which is especially suitable for preventing bleeding during laparoscopic surgical procedures.
