FIELD: recycling industrial and household wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of worn-out automobile and other tires reinforced with metal or fabric cord, which are not suitable for recovery. Device for grinding waste rubber comprises knives, bushings, two shafts and a housing with loading and unloading windows, with holes located and made with possibility of installation of end sections of shaft with bearings, and with possibility of arrangement and fixation of shafts inside it. On each of the shafts there are knives and bushings. Knife is a composite structure of a disc with blades. Disc is made with projections and platforms and is equipped with blind holes made in the projection. Each blade is made with through holes and with possibility of location and fixation on disc ledge by means of fastening elements. Knives represent cutting and tightening knives. At least five sets of knives are arranged on each shaft. Each set of knives consists of two cutting knives, between which a tightening knife is installed. Between sets of knives there is a bushing or bushings. Tightening knife is a disc with two teeth located opposite to each other and protruding beyond the tightening knife disc and beyond the cutting knives in the set of knives, providing retraction of rubber wastes during rotation of cutting and tightening knives. Cutting knife blade is provided with two through holes and is tightly fixed on the disc protrusion by means of two fastening elements. Each blade is a polyhedron, the front and rear surfaces of which are isosceles trapezoids, and upper and lower surfaces of which are larger and smaller base of isosceles trapezoid. Smaller base is sized to allow its location and fixation on disc ledge. Side surfaces are arranged with the possibility of being located on the side surface of the disc protrusion without a gap.
EFFECT: operating efficiency of the device for grinding waste rubber is improved by reducing maintenance time and shredding performance.
