FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for chlorination of carbide slag in a fluidised bed. Method includes determining chlorination conditions by calculating the minimum flow rate and removing the carbide slag by the average grain size of the carbide slag, determining gas velocity in first and second stage fluidized bed chlorinators, as well as calculation of flow rate of gaseous chlorine and volume of added nitrogen, required for supply to chlorinator of second stage, by content of TiC in carbide slag, as well as temperature of chlorination reactions in chlorinators of the first and second stages, wherein chlorinators with a fluidised bed of the first and second stages are connected in series. Carbide slag is fed into a first-stage fluidized bed chlorinator for preliminary chlorination; after the preliminary chlorination reaction, carbide slag is discharged into a second-stage fluidised bed chlorinator for deep chlorination. After the reaction, the tail slag is removed, and the remaining gas from the chlorinator with the fluidized bed of the second stage after the cyclone dust cleaning is supplied to the chlorinator with the fluidized bed of the first step.

EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of using gaseous chlorine, increases efficiency coefficient of carbide slag chlorination.
