FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to valve industry and is intended for control and shutdown of fluids and gases working media. Axial control valve comprises external and internal housings, inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges, flow divider made in form of perforated hollow cylinder, locking device, which is a cylinder-conical shell with a drive of translational movement in the form of a rack mechanism, on both sides of internal housing there are cylindrical dividers of flow of different diameter, contacting by their external surfaces with locking devices, which are interconnected and with drive of translational movement by means of rack mechanism, coaxially installed in internal housing are cylinder-cone shells – external and internal, and conical parts of each shell are directed to sides of flanges, and axes of holes in cylindrical flow dividers are inclined to valve axis, and angle of inclination of axes on each divider of flow is opposite.
EFFECT: offered axial control valve has a relatively simple structure that allows to reduce cavitation effects and increase the service life.
