FIELD: valve industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to valve industry, in particular, to axial flow control valves used in industrial pipeline valves, and is intended for control and shutoff of working media of liquids and gases. Axisymmetric control valve comprises outer and inner housings, inlet and outlet branch pipes with flanges, flow divider, locking device, drive in the form of rack-and-pinion mechanism. Inner surface of shutoff device interacts with outer surface of flow divider, on which longitudinal streams are made, width and depth increase towards outlet branch pipe. Longitudinal streams have trapezoidal cross section. Locking device is a hollow cylindrical-conical bushing arranged coaxially to the flow divider, the conical part of which has triangular cutouts located on the side of the inlet branch pipe and connected by means of rods installed between the cutouts to the translational motion drive.

EFFECT: proposed axisymmetric control valve has a relatively simple design, reduces cavitation effects and provides relatively low hydraulic resistance in the open position.
