FIELD: chemistry; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemistry and pharmaceutical industry, namely: to an ion channel blocker (or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof) selected from 145 compounds having amino acid sequences SEQ ID NO: 1–145 in sequence listing; to a method for synthesis thereof; to a composition for treating an inflammatory condition or disorder comprising the disclosed ion channel blocker and a carrier, excipient or excipient; to applications of said ion channel blocker for inhibiting or reducing inflammation and for treating an inflammatory condition or disorder. Also disclosed are versions of the ion channel blocker having the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 3, 30, 95, 97, 101 or 103, in which pairs of cysteine (C) residues such as 6C and 27C, 12C and 32C, 16C and 34C, participate in formation of a disulphide bond.
