FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hepatobiliary surgery, and can be used in laparoscopic resection of VIII segment of liver in patients with focal hepatic lesions of various genesis. Fan-shaped arrangement of trocars is performed with the center of an imaginary semicircle corresponding to a surgical intervention area of the VIII segment of the liver. Right working trocar is placed in the highest point of the epigastric region to the left of the xiphoid process. Optical port and the left working trocar are placed on one horizontal line crossing the middle line at the middle of the distance from the xiphoid process to the umbilicus, equidistant from the middle line at 10–12 cm from each other. Two assistant trocars are installed under the right costal arch along the above imaginary semicircle.

EFFECT: method provides reducing the traumatism of the operation, reducing the intraoperative and postoperative complications due to the absence of a transthoracic approach, improves visualization due to fan-shaped installation of trocars.
