FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to culinary and bakery production. Edible container contains two halves of the same shape and design. Each half is made of baked dense dough and has the shape of a thin-walled tray with side walls with an end surface along the perimeter of these walls. Each half is made in the shape of the tray symmetric relative to at least one axis passing along the surface of the tray bottom. Both halves are connected to each other with support on end surfaces. In the centre of each half there is a fastening element. It is made in the form of two back sides of similar in shape and size arc-shaped projections with location of concavities of these projections in opposite sides, between which there are recesses, in shape repeating the shape of projections. These protrusions are made with height exceeding the tray height and are connected to each other by a bridge with a height smaller than that of the projections, and the end surfaces of the projections and the bridge are rounded.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions will make it possible to improve the quality of the edible container.
