FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bakery production. Edible food container contains two halves of the same shape and design, each of which is made of baked dough and has the shape of a thin-walled container with side walls on which projections and hollows are made. Each half is made symmetrical in terms of the shape of the container with respect to at least one axis, passing along the surface of the bottom of the container, and both halves are interconnected with the location of the projections of one half in the hollows of the other half to form a hollow thin-walled shell. On the edge of the side walls of each container, an end support platform is made for mutual support of the containers on each other when they are joined. Protrusions and hollows in each container are located along this supporting platform from the inner wall of the container. Protrusions are located above the level of the support platform, and the hollows are located below this level. On the outer surface of the container opposite each protrusion inside the container there are recesses extended along the height of the side wall to form ribs on the outer surface, and each protrusion in the container is located opposite to the recess.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to preserve the strength of the container by eliminating the displacement of its halves when eating the container and its contents.
