FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of bakery production. The edible container comprises two halves of the same shape and structure, wherein each half is made of baked dough and has the shape of a thin-walled tray with a side wall or side walls whereon protrusions and recesses are made. Each half is made in the view in the form of a tray symmetrical relative to at least one axis extending along the surface of the bottom of the tray, and both halves are interconnected with the protrusions of one half located in the recesses of the other half so as to form a hollow thin-walled shell. A supporting end platform is made along the edge of the side walls of each tray for mutual support of the trays on each other on connection. The protrusions and recesses in each tray are located along said supporting platform on the side of the inner wall of the tray, wherein the protrusions are located above the level of the supporting platform and the recesses are located below said level. Each protrusion is made from the upper part, located at the level of or above the surface of the end platform and having a width along the direction of the surface of the end platform, greater than the width of the lower part of the protrusion located below the level of the surface of the end platform. The shape of the recess at the level below the surface of the end platform is made matching the shape of the upper part of the protrusion. The distance between adjacent protrusions, as measured in the plane passing through the transition area of the upper part of each protrusion to the lower part, is made smaller than the width of each protrusion as measured in said plane.
EFFECT: ensured non-opening of the container filled with a food filler, especially during eating, i.e., excluded separation of the upper half of the container by random circumstances from the lower half of the container filled with a food filler-product.
