FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of producing a granule in a press granulator, as well as to a granule for producing a stabilized polymer, to the use of the granule as a polymer stabilizer for dust-free handling of its components in production of stabilized polymer, to method of producing stabilized polymer and mixture for compaction. Method of producing a granule is carried out in a press granulator, which includes a roll and a matrix with a nozzle, wherein the method involves the following stages: (A) pressing the mixture for compaction with the help of a roller through a nozzle to obtain a thread and (B) grinding this thread to obtain a granule. Mixture for compaction contains (i) from 87 to 97 wt.% of polymer stabilizer, which is tris (2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)phosphite, and (ii) from 3 to 13 wt.% of process additive, which is a copolymer of propylene and ethylene and which has an enthalpy of fusion below 100 J/g at 101.32 kPa, and wt.% are converted to the weight of the mixture for compaction.

EFFECT: homogeneous distribution of polymer stabilizers in polyolefin during its processing at high temperature with formation of stable granules.
