FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing antifriction polymer coatings and can be used in making polymer parts in friction assemblies. Method of producing an antifriction coating with variable density includes the following stages of forming layers. Precursor material in the form of a filler powder is applied onto the base surface; the first and all subsequent layers of the filler powder are limited by layers of unfilled antifriction polymer, which are heated to a fluidity state before application of the filler powder. In each subsequent layer, the weight fraction of the powder-filler of the precursor material, having a linear thermal expansion coefficient (LTEC) corresponding to the LTEC of the base surface material, is reduced in proportion to the addition of a finely dispersed wear-resistant filler until complete replacement. Then the entire stack of layers is compressed and sintered simultaneously to obtain an antifriction coating with obtaining layers having different density.

EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability and durability of coating from antifriction polymer, as well as reduction and simplification of manufacturing process.
