FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in rehabilitation of patients after cochlear implantation (CI). Method is used to assess the functioning of the CI system by supplying acoustic stimuli at certain carrier frequencies with a fixed intensity. Stimulus parameters are varied. That is followed by determining the occurrence of responses at the main speech frequencies and assessing the morphology of the response in the mode of background electroencephalographic activity.
EFFECT: method quickly and accurately evaluates the integrity of the CI system in the patients of any age and with any CI system.
