SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and veterinary science, namely to use of peptide Ac-His-Ala-Glu-Glu-NH2 with N-terminal acetyl group and C-terminal amide group (HAEE), or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, or its pharmaceutically acceptable complexes with metal cations to restore physiologically normal concentration of endogenous HAEE in animal blood.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of restoring the physiologically normal concentration of endogenous HAEE in the blood in diseases or health disorders of animals associated with neuroinflammation and characterized by a drop in the level of endogenous HAEE in the blood compared to the norm.
