FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to sheet forming of heat-resistant titanium alloys and may be used in aerospace and power engineering. During stamping of titanium alloys alloyed with aluminium together with refractory metals or manganese, sheet billet is heated, after which the part is formed in a die. Billet is heated to temperature below melting point of the most low-melting aluminide of refractory metal or manganese. At that, the sheet workpiece from the alloy OT4, OT4-0, OT4-1, “ВТ4”, alloyed with aluminium and manganese, is heated to temperature of 450 °C. Billet from alloy “ВТ6, ВТ6С”, alloyed with aluminium and vanadium, and from alloy “ВТ20”, alloyed with aluminium, vanadium, molybdenum and zirconium, is heated to temperature of 460 °C.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished products and longer life in aircraft engines.
