FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for coagulation and/or dissection of biological tissue. Device comprises an apparatus and a tool electrically connected to it. Device is made with possibility to output supply voltage or supply current at its first output. Evaluation circuit of the apparatus is capable of outputting an evaluation signal at the second output of the apparatus. Working circuit of the tool contains a power connector, a signal connector, a control circuit and a switching unit. Power connector is connected to the first output of the apparatus. Signal connector is connected to the second output of the apparatus. Control circuit is connected to signal connector and comprises manually actuated first switch. Switching unit can switch between first and second states and is connected to power connector and cutting output. Evaluation signal is generated and output at the second output of the apparatus. Evaluation signal is received, and its characteristics are adjusted depending on the operating state of the first switch. Characteristics of the evaluation signal are determined, and its polarity is adjusted depending on the determined characteristic. Control signal depending on the polarity of the evaluation signal is generated. Switching unit is controlled to accept the first state or the second state.
EFFECT: simplified device for coagulation and/or dissection of biological tissue, as well as higher safety.
