METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF MEN'S RISK OF ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION ASSOCIATED WITH OBESITY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/58 C12Q1/686

Abstract RU 2693469 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. DNA of buccal epithelium is sampled, polymorphism of receptor genes activated by peroxisomal proliferators: PPARA, PPARG and PPARGC1A. If observing variant homozygous or heterozygous genotypes of PPARA gene (rs4253778), PPARG gene (rs1801282) and PPARGC1A gene (rs8192678), a risk of developing essential hypertension associated with obesity in men. Invention provides reliable prediction of the risk of developing essential hypertension associated with obesity in men by using a combination of genetic variants of loci as diagnostic criteria rs4253778 PPARA, rs1801282 PPARG and rs8192678 PPARGC1A.

EFFECT: what is presented is a method for prediction of men's risk of essential hypertension associated with obesity.
