FIELD: molecular biology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for diagnosing the severity of ischemic-hypoxic lesions of the central nervous system based on establishing the integrity of genomic DNA, including blood sampling into test tubes, centrifugation of test tubes with blood, DNA extraction, performing PCR using a reagent kit comprising a PCR buffer, Taq-DNA polymerase, deoxynucleoside triphosphates dATP, dGTP, dCTP, dTTP in concentrations of 0.12 mM and MgCl2 at concentration of 3 mM, deionised water, 4 pairs of oligonucleotide primers and 4 fluorescent probes.
EFFECT: more effective and faster diagnosis of severity of ischemic stroke by determining the presence of coding sequences of highly expressive genes of proteins of brain tissue cells in blood plasma, comparing their number with the norm from the first hours and within a day after the onset of the disease.
