SUBSTANCE: method for genotyping the rs12561767 (G>A) polymorphic locus of the SERBP1 gene in humans by real-time PCR using allele-specific fluorescent probes is described. The method includes PCR using direct 5'-GCATGCCTGTAGTCCCAGTA-3' and reverse 5'-GTCTCCTGTCTCCCATGCTA-3' primers and G-allele-specific fluorescently labelled probe 5'-(FAM) CTTGAACTTCA G AATGGCCAAAATC( RTQ1)-3' and A-allele-specific fluorescently labelled probe 5'-(ROX) CTTGAACTTCA A AATGGCCAAAATC( BHQ2)-3' .

EFFECT: expanding the range of methods for genotyping polymorphic variants of the SERBP1 gene for use in determining hereditary predisposition to the development of diseases associated with carriage of the polymorphic variant rs12561767 (G>A) of the SERPINE1 gene of mRNA-binding protein 1.
