FIELD: agricultural biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of ecologically clean biohumus on the basis of vermiremediation of organic wastes of animal and vegetable origin. Method of producing biohumus consists in preparing substrate—60% of cattle manure and 40% of winter wheat straw. Mixture is held in pile 3.0 m wide, 18.0 m long and 0.8 m deep for 3 days under natural conditions to start the fermentation process. Further, the substrate is treated with a biological preparation "Байкал ЭМ-1" by irrigation in dosage of 70 ml/t and populated with a worm of the family Lumbricidae Dendrobaena veneta. Further, the composting of the substrate is carried out for 7 weeks at moisture content of 70–75% and aeration 2 times a week by tedding. After the compost has matured, a method of excavation and manual disassembly of soil samples which is non-traumatic for worms is used, and the number of worms in the pile is calculated.
EFFECT: obtaining biohumus to increase crop capacity and reduce chemical load on soil.
