FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine disturbed microcirculatory blood flow in the area of macula and optic disc. Laser speckle flowmetry (LSFG) and registration of rheoencephalographic signal (REG) of internal carotid artery in temporal area are performed. If there is an inflection point in the pulse wave LSFG signal in the systole phase and there is no inflection point in the pulse wave signal of the REG in the systole phase of the same eye, or if the amplitude of the LSFG pulse wave is reduced by more than 10% relative to the paired eye and the REG pulse wave amplitude does not differ by more than 10% relative to the paired eye, then the disturbed microcirculatory blood flow of the eye is determined.
EFFECT: method provides more accurate diagnosis of microcirculatory blood flow disorders in the macula and optic disc by combined analysis of pulse blood filling signals in two parts of the vascular system of the eye: at the level of microcirculatory blood flow when analysing the LSFG signal and at the level of input (relative to the eye) arterial blood flow when analysing the REG signal.
