FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for early diagnosis of lymphogenous metastases in melanoma of trunk and extremity skin. Radiopharmaceutical with particle size of 80-100 nm is intracutaneously administered around the tumour. Dynamic lymphoscintigraphy is performed. Rate of propagation of the radiopharmaceutical is determined: V=S/t, where S is the distance from the tumour to the sentinel lymph node, t is the time from the appearance of the radiopharmaceutical agent around the tumour to its appearance in the sentinel lymph node. Presence of metastatic changes in the sentinel lymph nodes is indicated by the rate of spread of the radiopharmaceutical in melanoma of trunk skin 20.66±4.34 mm/s, with skin melanoma of lower extremities – 11.48±4.52 mm/s.

EFFECT: method enables early diagnosis of lymphogenous metastases accompanying melanoma of the trunk and extremities by determining the rate of propagation of the radiopharmaceutical.
