FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating article filter. Aerosol-generating article comprises: aerosol-forming substrate rod, wherein the aerosol-forming substrate contains at least 10 wt.% of an aerosol-forming substance; a filter segment formed from the fibrous filter material, the filter segment being longitudinally aligned with the rod; wherein the filter segment contains at least 85 wt.% in terms of the total weight of the fibrous filter material of a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) polymer or copolymer; wherein the tightness resistance (RTD) of the filter segment is 35 to 55 millimetres of H2O; and wherein the length of the filter segment ranges from 4 to 27 mm.
EFFECT: improved sensation during smoking for the consumer due to elimination of the problem of “dry smoke”, as well as increased hardness of the filter.
