FIELD: transport machine building.

SUBSTANCE: hydrogen power plant for vehicles includes a fuel cell battery with an electronic control unit, connected to a hydrogen storage system, traction battery with electronic control unit connected to temperature control system with electronic control unit, upper level controller, step-up and step-down DC/DC converters. Step-up converters increase the voltage level generated by the fuel cells of the fuel cell battery to the level corresponding to the voltage of the traction battery. Step-down converter supplies low-voltage consumers of the vehicle and charges auxiliaries battery. Fuel cell battery with the electronic control unit and the traction battery with the electronic control unit are enclosed in different casings and fixed in the vehicle at a distance at which heating of the traction battery from the fuel cell battery does not occur.

EFFECT: energy efficiency of the vehicle is increased.
