FIELD: food industry; biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a biologically active food additive. Method for producing a biologically active additive from hydrobionts involves grinding salmon fish milt or scallop gonads, adding water, alkalizing with an alkali solution, addition of magnesium chloride salt in amount of 130–170 g per 1,000 g of raw material. Further, the obtained solution is treated with ultrasound with power of 150–200 W/cm3 for 5–15 minutes. Enzymatic hydrolysis, inactivation of the enzyme, filtration, separation of the precipitate and drying of the filtrate to produce a powder are then carried out. Further, the obtained powder is mixed with the biologically active additive Tinrostim at ratio of 1,000:2.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a biologically active food additive, which is an additional source of nucleic acids and magnesium, and having immunomodulatory and cardioprotective action.
