SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to coffee industry. Described is a method for drying a wet detachable cell (222a, 222b) of an electrostatic smoke precipitator of a smoke treatment unit (3) of roasting system (100), wherein said smoke treatment unit comprises electrostatic smoke precipitator (222), which comprises said at least one detachable cell, and said cell comprises ionisation wires, collecting electrodes and repulsive electrodes, and on said wires and the electrodes are supplied with electric power, wherein the method includes at least a step of passing hot air (A3) through said wet detachable cell, when said cell is located inside the electrostatic smoke precipitator (222) and is switched off, wherein said hot air is generated by the coffee beans roasting apparatus, while roasting chamber (12) of the said apparatus is empty, in particular, without coffee beans, and a hot air temperature control step. Also described is a roasting system comprising coffee beans roasting apparatus (1), a smoke treatment unit (2) and control system (3), in which said smoke treatment unit comprises a working member of smoke supply (23) and at least an electrostatic smoke precipitator (222). Also disclosed is a machine-readable data medium for performing said drying method.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to provide cleaning of a smoke treatment unit of a coffee beans roasting device containing an electrostatic smoke precipitator for a short period of time.
