FIELD: telemetry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of compressing and recovering telemetric data frames. Technical result is achieved in the method of compressing telemetric data frames, which consists in displaying the currently obtained bit representation of the frame on a rectangular area. Surface of the region is then divided into a plurality of completely covering it rectangular regions of a smaller size, which can consist of bits of only one type, with subsequent fixation for each region of the depth of recursive partitioning carried out to obtain them, which enables to compress regions, which contain a number of bits greater than the number of bits allocated for storing the code describing the depth of recursive partitioning carried out to obtain each fixed region, as well as bits of their type according to the invention. All previously obtained bit representations of data frames are stored, which are mapped to rectangular areas, which are compared with the bit representation of the data frame, which is displayed on the rectangular area, obtained at the current moment in time. Among previously received frame is determined, bit position of which is closest to the bit position of the current frame, with the subsequent fixation of their coordinates and the frame number with which the comparison was made, which enables to compress the frames, which contain the number of bits greater than the number of bits allocated for storing the code describing the coordinates of the different bits and the number of the frame with which the comparison was made.

EFFECT: higher compression rate.
